About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room at Inspira Health is responsible for performing patient assessments, determining the priority of care, and providing immediate interventions. The RN analyzes assessment data, formulates and implements a plan of care, and evaluates its effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff, adhering to the policies and procedures of Inspira Health Network (IHN). This position is part-time and requires working night shifts.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire.
• Graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
• One year of clinical experience required.
• Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• CPI initial training for new hires to be completed within the introductory period, with renewal every 18 months.
• Cardiac dysrhythmia training required within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of the Critical Care Course within 1 year or 2 years of CC experience or current CEN.
• Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Courses within 12 months of initial assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of ED experience preferred for per diem positions.
• National Certification in specialty area preferred.
