Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full service, 70-bed medical/surgical acute care facility in Gloucester, MA. Founded in 1889, the hospital provides state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann community in specialties such as radiology, cancer care, primary and pediatric care, cardiology, inpatient geriatric services, and emergency medicine. We serve as a primary point of entry for patients accessing this service. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician at all times. Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomesPer Diem
Requirements
- State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS Certification
- At least one year of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting and ED experience required
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments
