About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department (ED) at Corona Regional Medical Center is a part-time shift role responsible for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for patients from neonatal to geriatric. The RN will report to the Director of Emergency Room Services or the Nurse Manager of Emergency Room Services and will have accountability for patient care during their assigned shifts, which can be 8 or 12 hours long. The RN must utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing processes to effect managed care, providing competent care throughout the life span.

Requirements

  • Current California RN license required.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • PALS certification required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Promote, maintain, and restore health of assigned patients.
  • Accountability for patient care during assigned shifts.
