About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department (ED) at Corona Regional Medical Center is a full-time role with shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM. The hospital, established in 1965, has evolved to meet the needs of a growing community and is now a 238-bed network that includes a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The RN will report to the Director of Emergency Room Services or the Nurse Manager of Emergency Room Services and will be responsible for the health promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patients from neonatal to geriatric age. The RN must apply specialized knowledge and skills in nursing processes to provide competent care throughout the patient's life span.

Requirements

• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent care for patients from neonatal to geriatric age.
• Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills.
• Effect managed care for patients assigned to the RN's care.
• Maintain accountability for patient health promotion, maintenance, and restoration.
