About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department (ED) at Corona Regional Medical Center is a full-time, mid-shift role. The hospital, established in 1965, has evolved to meet the needs of a growing community and is now a 238-bed facility with a diverse medical staff. The RN will report to the Director of Emergency Room Services or the Nurse Manager and will be responsible for the health promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patients across all age groups. The RN must apply specialized nursing knowledge and skills to provide competent care throughout the patient's life span.

Requirements

• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills.
• Effect managed care for patients assigned to the RN's care.
• Maintain accountability for patient health promotion and restoration.
