As a Emergency Dept Float Pool RN, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of your patients at both Banner University Medical Center Tucson and South Tucson campuses. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), and patient transports. In your role as a Registered Nurse with our ED Float Pool, you will support the clinical needs of our Emergency Depts at both our Tucson and South Tucson Campuses. In addition, we are always looking to grow our team members by expanding skillsets based off of quarterly goal planning with your management team. This position works 3x12-hour shifts, Day Shift (7:00AM - 7:30PM) with weekend rotations. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
