Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s patient-focused setting. SUMMARY: Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs, systematically plan, and implement a plan of care and continually evaluate the outcomes of that care. Provides and coordinates quality care for patients of all ages in the emergency and non-emergency care settings, along with physicians, ancillary departments, and co-workers. Nurse cares for patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Position will assist in the educational activities of the nursing services departments.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in nursing
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program preferred
- Six months RN experience required to work in the Emergency Department
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Iowa
- Current certifications for BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and Mandatory Reporting of Child and Dependent Adult Abuse or completion in accordance with hospital Education Policy
Nice To Haves
- One-year experience with cardiac monitoring is preferred
- Basic Coronary Care Class certification preferred
