Our Emergency Department is currently 12 beds plus 2 major-medical/trauma rooms with room to expand in the future. We are a base station for local EMS and pride ourselves on our ability to offload patients quickly and efficiently so our EMS crews can get back in the field. Located at the southeast corner of South Alma School Road and the Loop 202 San Tan Freeway in Chandler, AZ, we opened in November 2020 and we are rapidly growing and evolving. We are a test location for many technological improvements before they are introduced across the Banner Health System. This is a part-time position working two 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
