Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department
About The Position
This is for a full-time or PRN 24 hours in 6 weeks position in the Emergency Department at MedStar Harbor Hospital Unit Highlights Welcome to MedStar Harbor Hospital. MedStar Harbor Emergency Department is a 27 bed department with 20 main ED beds and 7 fast track beds. The Emergency Department see's approximately 40,000 patients a year and serves a diverse patient population. Gain great experience caring for patients of all ages, and various medical complaints. Harbor Hospital is approximately 1 mile from Interstate 95, allowing an easier commute for their employees with free onsite parking. Requirements
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
Nice To Haves
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex.
- You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
