Work location: Texas Health Burleson, 2750 Southwest Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028 Work hours \: PRN II/per diem, Day shift (covering 7a and 11a shift), Minimum requirement\: 3 shifts/per 6-week schedule, Weekend requirement\: 1 shifts per 6-week schedule, Holiday requirement\: 1 major/1 minor Department Highlights: 10-bed emergency department Located about 15 miles south of downtown Ft. When seconds count, you can count on Texas Health Burleson Here’s what you need Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS – within 90 days of hire required PALS – within 90 days of hire required or ENPC – within 12 months of hire required NIHSS – within 90 days of hire required TNCC or ATCN – within 12 months of hire required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire 1-year registered nursing experience required Current ED experience strongly preferred In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism have basic computer skills using medical management application systems What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
