Lincoln Hospital Nursing Req #: 60352 Per diem The Emergency Department is a 14 bed unit that serves as the first point of contact for patients of every age who require immediate or emergency medical attention and care. Emergency department physicians and nurses assess and rapidly treat a variety of patients to include those who are critically ill or present with signs of physiological instability. The emergency department staff also respond and support emergencies such as cardiac arrest, stroke, respiratory failure or patient instability for the inpatient units of the hospital. Summary: The Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
