Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Med/Surg Unit at the Northland Medical Center located in Princeton, MN. Schedule: This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on NIGHT shift with an every third weekend (F,S,S) rotation and a holiday rotation. Emergency services: Level IV trauma center and is also Stroke ready Designated by the MN Department of Health. The department’s bed capacity is 17 which includes 2 trauma/critical care rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms. We also treat our infusion patients after hours and weekends, when our infusion department is closed. We consult with DEC for our behavioral patients and SANE for our forensic examinations. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate

Requirements

Current MN RN license in good standing
Will Consider New Grads
ACLS and TNCC required upon hire or obtained within 1 year
PALS or ENPC current or obtained within 1 year of hire
Current BLS certification

Nice To Haves

Prefer experience in critical care, telemetry or emergency nursing
Current ICU experience
BSN or BAN
