About The Position

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks a new graduate registered nurse for our Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a creative, vibrant, results-focused, and team-oriented professional who is well versed in patient-centered, evidence-based, outcome-driven care. Night shift 6:00pm-6:30am, rotating weekends and holidays. Join our New Graduate Residency Program!

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Ability to obtain valid Vermont State Registered Nurse licensure by date of employment required.
• Health Care Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior emergency department or critical care nursing experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
