About The Position

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to practice in alignment with the Emergency Nurses Association. The specific patient population may include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The RN demonstrates the care and skills delineated in the ED nurse competency verification tool, including but not limited to: Equipment, Triage, Assessment, Medication management, Documentation.

Requirements

• RN License valid in the state of NH.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification (or obtained upon hire).
• BSN minimum education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice in alignment with the Emergency Nurses Association.
• Care for a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrate care and skills as per the ED nurse competency verification tool.
• Manage equipment, triage, assessment, medication management, and documentation.
