About The Position

The position is for a part-time Registered Nurse in the Oncology Infusion Center at Advocate Health, specifically in Sheboygan County. The role involves working day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 every third weekend, with the possibility of picking up extra shifts. The pay range for this position is between $37.50 and $56.25 per hour. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients and families, ongoing assessment, and the ability to adapt care plans as necessary. The nurse will also be involved in discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining professional development.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Demonstrates progression to provide holistic patient care.
• Proficient computer skills and use of electronic medical records.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to make critical, independent decisions.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
