Registered Nurse (RN) Electrophysiology Lab
About The Position
Our dynamic Electrophysiology Lab team is made up of Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologist and support staff, to include MOAs and PCT's, that work in a dynamic and innovative environment for a unique patient population! Our focus is patient safety while utilizing cutting edge technology and research that supports the treatment and wellness of our patients! A few of these procedures included the following: Loop Recorders, Electrophysiology Studies, Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, Aflutter Ablations, SVT & VT Ablations, Cryo, and Watchman. Operating Hours: Monday- Friday with No Weekends/No Holidays Come join our team as we grow and continue to provide care for a unique and diverse population that requires the specialized care of a dedicated Electrophysiology team. With both Magnet and Pathway to Excellence designations, we join an elite group as one of only two hospitals nationwide with active dual designations for nursing excellence and an outstanding work environment, as recognized by the ANCC. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.
Requirements
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience in Cardiac ICU or Cardiac Procedural required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
