About The Position

Position Summary:
Coordinates all education activities and hospital programs according to policies, procedures, philosophy and goals of the hospital and nursing services, as assigned by supervisor, including managing affiliated school student and clinical rotations. Functions as a role model and resource person. Facilitates and assesses participants of BLS and ACLS classes meeting AHA guidelines. Facilitates and assists participants in courses scheduled on campus and off campus.
Flexible hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., included, but not limited to nights, weekends and holiday coverage as assigned.

Requirements

• RN bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience required
• Current State of Florida RN License required.
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or the red Cross required.
• Extremely proficient with computer skills, Microsoft outlook, excel, word and power point.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical Educator experience preferred
• Critical care and/or ED experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Cerner EMR system strongly preferred.
