Serves as a practitioner, educator, consultant, and evidence-based practice leader. Responsible for needs assessment, design and development, delivery and evaluation of in-service programs, orientation and continuing education for nurses, students, and other staff in specified clinical areas. Develops educational policies and procedures; serves as a resource person to staff and management; participates in quality and performance improvement activities; and serves on special committees as needed. Functions with the guidance of the leadership team as an integrated member of CMHC. Requirements

Current State of Maine Registered Nurse license
5 to 7 years of relevant acute care experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS, PALS, and BLS Certification required; Instructor status certifications preferred.

Nice To Haves

2 years clinical educator experience preferred
Master's degree preferred
Instructor status certifications preferred.
