About The Position

Unit Information The UH Lake West ED is a Level 3 Trauma Center consists of 20 beds on the main side of the ED for acute patients. We also have 5 super track rooms that allow us to see lower acuity patients and keep patient flow moving through the ED. We are stroke and chest pain certified. Dimensions are: Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Requirements

  • Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
  • An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
  • Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
