About The Position

The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the overall planning, direction, supervision, and coordination of daily activities within the Surgical Services department. This role involves leading strategic planning, performance improvement, policy development, and staff management, including hiring, training, and scheduling. The Director collaborates with medical staff, management, and other departments to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery, while also managing the departmental budget and promoting a professional environment.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN License - Required
• BSN - Required
• ACLS Certification - Required (3 month window offered to complete the certification class)
• 3-5 years' experience in a Surgical leadership position - Required
• BLS
