As a Registered Nurse working in the Dialysis Department, you will provide hemodialysis services for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our Kidney center is the largest in the Valley with 21 bays, 50% of patients dialyzed 1:1 in ICU or for acuity. Nurses, Physicians, Dialysis Technicians, PCA’s, Social Workers, and Dieticians work very closely with our patients and families to work toward the goal of transplant. We are currently seeking experienced acute care dialysis nurses with previous bedside experience in M/S, PCU or ICU. This position will work three 12-hour or four 10-hour shifts, with a 0900-start time with rotating weekends, holidays and an on-call rotation. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
