About The Position
St. Clare-Newport is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a day shift nursing position. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and ensuring that all medical and personal care is delivered in accordance with established standards and regulations. The position requires a commitment to quality care and a passion for working with the elderly, particularly those with dementia and those in short-term rehabilitation. The RN will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support to residents and their families. The standard working hours for this position are from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with alternating weekends and holidays as part of the schedule. The RN will be expected to manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and care. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. The RN will also play a key role in educating residents and their families about health management and wellness practices. St. Clare-Newport offers a competitive pay rate of up to $50 per hour, along with a supportive and mission-driven work environment.
