About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Home Health RN for our Silver Spring office who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Home Health RN you will: Assess, plan, intervene & evaluate patient care in the home to achieve patient goals. Documentation of patient care and outcomes (electronic if applicable). Delegation and supervision of tasks Home Health Aides and LPNs. Serve as a support to new staff or students. Participate in quality initiatives. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning. Pursue professional development and growth. Meet standards set by agency demonstrating flexibility, commitment and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • 2 years full-time experience in acute care
  • Current Maryland State nursing license
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance that meets agency requirements
  • Certification in specialty once qualified
