About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized critical care for cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity intensive care environment. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality patient care during the night shift while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a Compact RN License
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent CVICU experience
• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing, cardiac monitoring, and ICU protocols
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgery and individuals with critical cardiac conditions.
• Continuously monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrated drips according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions based on CVICU standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations when necessary.
• Follow infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols at all times.
