About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join a high-acuity critical care team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in managing post-operative cardiac surgery patients and other complex cardiovascular conditions in an intensive care setting. Requirements

• Minimum experience in CVICU or cardiovascular critical care nursing.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery recovery protocols and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Excellent critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU environment.
• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Additional CVICU-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and vital signs.
• Administer medications, IV drips, and specialized treatments per physician orders.
• Manage post-operative recovery for cardiac surgery patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
