Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care Float Pool
About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care Regional Float Pool Ready to elevate your practice with flexibility and variety? Make an impact across multiple top-tier hospitals-on a schedule that works for you. Float to ICU and IMC units at least three of the following sites: MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital MedStar Harbor Hospital MedStar Montgomery Medical Center MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Enjoy a competitive base rate, hourly shift incentive, and additional pay for Charge and Preceptor shifts. PRN Requirements: Four 12-hour shifts per 6-week schedule Two of the 4 shifts are weekend or night shifts per 6-week schedule 1 holiday a year 1 hard-to-fill shift per year
Requirements
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- 2+ years of RN experience required; 2+ years of Critical Care RN experience strongly preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS and NIHSS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex.
- You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
