Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care - CVOR
About The Position
HSHS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. In this critical role, the RN will function as a scrub nurse, providing direct intraoperative nursing care by assisting surgeons during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to maintain a sterile field, proficient in surgical instrumentation, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative experience. Position Specifics: • Department: CVOR • Core Function: Nursing • Schedule: Full time, 40 hrs/wk, Days 6:30am-3pm Monday to Friday, on call and holiday rotation • Facility: St. Vincent Hospital • Location: Green Bay, WI • Sign On: $15,000 ($20,000 for those with 2 years CVOR experience) • Compensation aligned with your experience For more questions contact Lauren Aman at [email protected]
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
