Registered Nurse (RN) Consultant for an Interdisciplinary Behavior Support Team Seeking an RN who enjoys using a repertoire of nursing knowledge, the nursing process, and working with a multidisciplinary team. The Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home provides children with developmental disabilities and severe mental health issues the opportunity to live and participate in a community setting. This is an exciting position for an individual who desires to learn from an expert team and expand your knowledge base in behavioral therapies, autism, mental health care, and developmental disabilities. The RN is responsible for health assessments, communicating with other providers, training direct care personnel, and ensuring care for four youth with a variety of challenges. The position requires the ability to self-direct and use leadership skills. While working with the team, the RN has opportunities to develop skills at their pace as a nurse case manager, nurse educator, and administrator. Hours are flexible and directed by the residents’ cases, team, and administrator; averages 20-30 per month, with the option of adding more facilities.
