About The Position
Join our team at VCU Health as we prepare to launch our brand new Comprehensive Liver Care Unit - ICU in April 2025! We're gearing up for this milestone by recruiting and onboarding top talent to ensure a seamless transition. The unit will specialize in a 15 bed ICU catering specifically to the Liver Transplant and Transplant Hepatology populations with critical care needs. Enjoy 1:1 and 1:2 nurse to patient ratios tailored to the complexity of patient assignments, with round-the-clock in-person provider coverage on the unit, ensuring optimal patient care. Our Liver Transplant program is thriving, with volumes increasing year after year. In 2023 alone, VCU Health completed an impressive 205 liver transplants!
