Requirements

  • Applicants should have active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia (or compact state). Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with previous experience in Acute Care setting may be considered.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute-care setting is required.
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in clinical systems implementation across the full project lifecycle, including workflow analysis, testing, training, go-live support, upgrades, and issue management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
  • Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
  • Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.
