Then you have what it takes to be a Clinical Decision Unit Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital. Our Clinical Decision Unit/Observation Unit RN will: Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and over management of care for the patients on the Clinical Decision Unit, including telemetry monitored patients. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patents and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

Requirements

  • Passion for telemetry.
  • 1+ year of RN experience working in telemetry preferred.
  • New Graduate Registered Nurses are welcome.
  • Associates in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
  • BLS required for all RN's. ACLS required for PACU, ED, S Unit, and all critical care areas. PALS required for ED and PACU.
