About The Position

At Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital, the Behavioral Health Units provide care including inpatient Adult, Inpatient Child and Adolescent, and Dual Diagnosis services. The Clinical Coordinator RN assists in the management of unit personnel, the nursing unit environment, and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to all ages of patients. The Clinical Coordinator RN provides direct care to patients based on patients' age, developmental level, and priorities.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - BSN preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
  • Knowledge of current nursing, medical, and health trends and practices.
  • Experience with mentoring nursing students.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAMSHA regulations, DPH, Joint Commission, Utilization management Detoxification requirements, Core measures, and psychiatric experience with adult, child, adolescent, TBI, and Rehab populations.

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
