About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a pediatric ambulatory clinic in the Bronx, NY. This 14-week contract assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient nursing care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, particularly in IV therapy and phlebotomy, along with prior experience in Med/Surg or clinic settings. This is an active, immediate-start opportunity with a defined 14-week duration.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN license (primary source verification required)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg or outpatient clinic nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a pediatric ambulatory clinic setting
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy as clinically indicated
• Perform phlebotomy and routine clinical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and treatment protocols
• Maintain infection prevention standards and ensure clinic safety compliance
• Complete accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
