About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Nursing Instructor Location: Aurora, CO | Campus: On-Site Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week) Compensation: $40.00 – $46.89 per hour Are you a seasoned RN ready for a career designed for balance? The Full-Time Advantage As a full-time faculty member, you are the backbone of our program, engaging with students across all learning modalities: Didactic (Theory): Lead classroom instruction on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). Clinical/Lab: Lead hands-on skills in our high-fidelity simulation labs or supervise clinical rotations on Thursday and Friday. Student Success: Use your dedicated hours for academic advising, curriculum development, and NCLEX-readiness coaching.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s in Nursing (MSN) OR a BSN with current, active enrollment in an MSN program (commitment to completion is required).
  • Licensure: Current, active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience providing direct patient care.
  • Skills: Strong communication and the ability to simplify complex clinical concepts for students.

  • Prior experience in teaching, precepting, or high-fidelity simulation.

  • Instructional Excellence: Prepare and deliver engaging lectures based on our approved nursing curriculum.
  • Simulation Leadership: Facilitate dynamic, high-fidelity simulation lab activities; we provide full training on our state-of-the-art simulation equipment.
  • Clinical Mentorship: Supervise, evaluate, and mentor students in real-world healthcare settings, ensuring high standards of patient safety and professional behavior.
  • Academic Advising: Support student progression through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Program Development: Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to continuous program quality improvement and CNEA accreditation standards.
