About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and the care team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license (New York State or Compact, as applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (Cath Lab or Critical Care experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cardiac care, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions
Nice To Haves
- Experience wit h EPIC or similar EMR prefe rred
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy as ordered
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and support
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment within the Cath Lab
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and procedural details
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies
- Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies in the Cath Lab
