As a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab at Minden Medical Center, your daily responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to prepare patients for cath lab procedures, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Expect to assist in both diagnostic and interventional procedures, while maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols. Your schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life experience. What we're looking for in a Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab To excel as a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab at Minden Medical Center, a strong foundation in critical care nursing is essential. Candidates should possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, demonstrating readiness to handle emergency situations effectively. Four years of critical care experience is preferred, equipping you with the necessary clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills required in a fast-paced environment. In addition to clinical expertise, successful candidates should have strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
