Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab
About The Position
The RN coordinates all patient care activities in the Heart Center Cath Lab. The nursing process is used in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of cardiology patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to Cardiology patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledge of cardiovascular clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents is essential. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong cardiovascular clinical and assessment skills. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS upon hire
- Two (2) years of Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical and assessment skills required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN Preferred
- Two (2) or more years of Cath Lab or procedural experience
