About The Position

Travel Registered Nurse (RN)- Cath Lab - (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Coos Bay, OR. Contract Details Days, 10, 6:30am-4:30pm Start Date: 4/28/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: weekend on call Location: Coos Bay, OR 16 hours unbillable Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient. Key Responsibilities: Conducts specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and/or electrophysiology studies. Serves as a lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff as needed to ensure maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities. Collaborates with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care. Participates consistently in Universal Protocol and site marking identification (when applicable). Assists with identification, preparation and draping of patients, and room preparation for routine procedures. Reads physicians’ orders/protocols and if necessary, communicates with physicians on protocols for routine procedures, and selects equipment in accord with the protocols and regulatory, statutory and Parkland standards to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction. Maintains and calibrates equipment, instituting and recording all preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and reporting or seeking repair to maintain equipment operability. Conducts maintenance on special procedures equipment and calibrates such equipment before each procedure, instructing technologists in the operation of special procedures equipment as needed to ensure quality care for patients. Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department. Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of cardiovascular technology by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices. Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact cardiovascular technology and the cardiac labs area. Revises procedures for repeated use of special procedures equipment and develops effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws, and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as necessary to ensure proper understanding. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Document accurately and comply with facility policies and protocols Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Directs support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • Acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years is required
  • Experience in prep and recovery area is required
  • ACLS is required
  • BLS (AHA) is required
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
