Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
About The Position
RN Cath Lab Part Time Days Position Summary Circulates and Monitors all Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Procedures including Structural Heart Procedures. Able to mix and administer intraprocedural and emergency cardiac medications including providing conscious sedation medications. Scrubbing training available for Nurse who are interested to expand their role. Special Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with team members are required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure. Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing and wearing the additional weight of lead aprons during procedures. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to take call and be within 30 minutes of Abrazo Heart Hospital. Shift: 6a-630p (12 hr Shifts)
Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
- A minimum of 1+ years Emergency Department, ICU or Procedural setting nursing experience may be considered.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews every two years.
- Must be able to take call and be within 30 minutes of Abrazo Heart Hospital.

Nice To Haves
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
- At least one (1) year of prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Hemodynamics experience preferred.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
- Strongly preferred expr in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- Certified as a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) is preferred
