About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Midland, MI. Assignment: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10; 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM / 40 Hour Guarantee Call / Float to EP required Start Date: 3/16/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Midland, MI Weekend Requirements: For Call Only On Call Requirements: 10 days of call per month (call includes IR/Vascular and STEMI) Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs EMR: Epic This position cares for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures, and other diagnostic testing and procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, and patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Key Responsibilities: (35%) Performs nursing care of the catheterization/angiography cardiovascular patient. Conducts other cardiac diagnostic nursing procedures according to department protocol. Assisting in stress echocardiogram, routine treadmill exam, nuclear and pharmacologic stress testing, tilt table, echocardiograms (NS/Definity), cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Assists with prep, procedure, and recovery for other interventional radiology procedures. Evaluates and screens patients for safety before performing testing. Provides sedation monitoring in accordance with hospital policy and documents appropriately. Holter monitor application, Event monitor application, Ambulatory blood pressure monitor application, and pacemaker interrogations. Inserts PICC lines and functions as a vascular access expert to meet patients' needs. Performs other necessary tasks as assigned by the manager. (35%) Operates equipment and manages supplies, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers/ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, crash cart, IV pumps, defibrillators, point of care glucometer/blood sugar testing, stress machines, and other nursing supplies (Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE/IV etc). (15%) Scrubs in for procedures with the physician. (15%) Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets. Develops, reviews, and enhances cardiovascular education materials and programs. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • Cath Lab RN Experience is required
  • 1+ Years of experience in Electrophysiology is required
  • Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
  • RN license is required
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Interventional Radiology experience is preferred
  • Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation is preferred
  • Knowledge & operation of the intraaortic balloon pump is preferred
  • Travel Work Experience is preferred
  • Epic EMR Experience is preferred
