Requirements

• Passion for cardiology
• 1+ years of experience in a Procedural or Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.) preferred
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
• New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification required from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Responsibilities

• Manage overall care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform sedation, preservation of the sterile field, ACLS management, documentation, etc.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
