Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • RN must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire date. New graduates will obtain ACLS within 1 year of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as an RN, preferably in the area of application.
