About The Position

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking an RN to join our Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Flexible PRN Opportunity! Night shift Supported by a collaborative team! You will provide care to inpatients and outpatients post Cath and EP Lab procedures as well as other cardiac diagnoses, conditions and treatment plans. This is a fast-paced progressive care unit that specializes in cardiac and acute respiratory patient care. You will have the opportunity to overcome daily challenges, provide patient education and be your patient's advocate to ensure positive patient outcomes. This is a collaborative team. Our nurses help, teach, and support each other in becoming the best nurses they can be, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care.

Requirements

• 1 year applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
• Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process.
• Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises other patient care staff.
• Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
