About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to continue supporting a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit . This is an extension opportunity for clinicians with strong critical-care and cardiovascular experience. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, adaptable, and experienced in managing complex cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Recent CVICU or Cardiovascular ICU experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to work night shifts and within a critical care environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care to CVICU patients
- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular and hemodynamic assessments
- Manage ventilated patients and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms and post-surgical changes
- Collaborate with intensivists, cardiology, and surgical teams
- Respond to emergent situations and changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate documentation using the facility EMR system
