About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to provide expert, patient-centered care for critically ill cardiovascular patients within a fast-paced, technologically advanced hospital setting. This role is for an experienced ICU RN looking to join a high-acuity cardiovascular team in a leading trauma and acute care environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU (within the last 2–3 years) experience required OR 2+ years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience considered
• Active RN license (or eligibility for licensure as required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized critical care to high-acuity cardiovascular and ICU patients, including ventilator management and complex IV/vasoactive drips
• Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Advocate for patients and families while ensuring confidentiality and compassionate communication
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based critical care standards
