About The Position

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
• Have experience caring for high acuity patients required.
• At least two years of stepdown experience required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware

Nice To Haves

• Previous critical care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for high-acuity cardiac patients , including those requiring advanced therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams , including cardiologists, medical residents, cardiac surgeons, and physician assistants.
• Participate in daily patient-focused rounds to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manage complex interventions such as: Titration of multiple vasoactive medications Invasive hemodynamic monitoring Ventilator management and rapid weaning Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) patients
