About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and clinical support during invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. This position is ideal for a Cath Lab RN who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and values collaboration and quality patient care.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license (required).
Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
3 years Cath Lab experience OR
5 years experience in a high-acuity setting (e.g., ICU).
Experience circulating, monitoring, and supporting sedation medications (including mixing sedation drips).
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

Assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures including: cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device procedures and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR).
Support the patient through all aspects of the procedure including transport, site preparation, sterile technique, patient monitoring, sedation support, hemostasis following catheter/sheath removal, and return to room.
Manage emergent cases and function effectively under stressful situations.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and complete all paperwork associated with procedures.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR for hand-off communication.
Collaborate with team members and support orientation as needed.
