About The Position
This fast paced 50 bed unit specializes in Cardiac Telemetry; caring for patients who have a variety of complex cardiac diagnosis such as COPD, CHF, A Fib. The unit also cares for post open heart surgical patients, and some post cardiac interventional procedures (cardiac cath, pacemakers). The unit also has a designated area for observation patients. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Requires 1 year minimum of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience to be considered
