Johnson 4 is a medical/surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit, which accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical/ surgical conditions. Common Medical Diagnoses Heart failure STEMI/NSTEMI Acute Coronary Syndrome Syncope Cardiac Dysrhythmia Cerebral Vascular Accident Circulatory disorder Chest Pain Pre and Post Pacemaker/AICD placement Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• ACLS preferred
• PCU Experience preferred
• Progressive Telemetry Competency Education ~ preferred
• 36 hours per week, rotating shifts, and every other weekend and rotating holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments,observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes
