About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Telemetry team on the 5 Heart Tower. This position is primarily for night shifts, providing care to patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a cardiac care unit
• Certification in Cardiac Vascular Nursing (CCRN)
• Previous experience with electronic health record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions
